Join the World Chess Hall of Fame as we welcome the music of Italian composer Respighi.
Ottorino Respighi is beloved for his sparking and florid compositions that paint vivid sonic landscapes of his Italian homeland. Best known for his orchestral tone-poems, this concert showcases his rich chamber music for strings and voice, featuring his String Quartet in D Major and Il Tramonto for mezzo-soprano and string quartet.
Featuring St. Louis Symphony members, Erin Schrieber, Shawn Weil, Chris Tantillo, and Bjorn Ranheim, as well as special guest Lara Nie.
Reservations are required. $5 Tickets available for members, seniors, and military. Admission includes one free drink ticket and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.
Metered on-street parking is available, as well as paid lots adjacent to Kingside Diner and at the Schlafly Library.
